Recently, under the guidance of Professor Cao Yu from our university, Li Mengmeng, a doctoral candidate in optical engineering from the Class of 2023 at the Strait Institute of Flexible Electronics, has achieved a major breakthrough in the field of Perovskite LEDs. This research, conducted in collaboration with Northwestern Polytechnical University, Nanjing Tech University, and Changzhou University, introduces the use of accelerated radiative recombination rates and significantly improves the fluorescence quantum efficiency. As a result, the external quantum efficiency (EQE) of perovskite LEDs has surpassed the milestone of 30%, making them almost ready for industrial applications. The findings have been published in the prestigious international academic journal Nature under the title “Acceleration of Radiative Recombination for Efficient Perovskite LEDs”.
FNU is listed as the second affiliation, and Li Mengmeng is the first author of the paper. This research was supported by the National Key Research and Development Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and other scientific research projects.
