Recently, the evaluation of 12th Award for Outstanding Individual of Chinese Young Volunteers, Award for Outstanding Organization of Chinese Young Volunteers and Award for Outstanding Project of Chinese Young Volunteers, jointly organized by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League (CYL) and China Young Volunteers Association (CYVA), officially ended. FNU Graduate Education Support Group was the only organization in Fujian to win the 12th Chinese Excellent Young Volunteers Organization Award.
Found in 2002, FNU Graduate Education Support Group has been sending volunteers for 18 years in a row to support education in poverty-stricken areas of Gansu Province such as Zhangxian County, Dingxi City and Gulang County, Wuwei City. To date, FNU volunteers have carried out a series of measures to promote education and poverty alleviation and launched projects such as One-to-one Financial Support for Poor Students, Make You Feel Warm in Winter and Sungirl Student Extracurricular Activity Center.
