Recently, Mr. Zhu Yu, the director of the Population and Development Research Center and a researcher of the School of Geographical Sciences of FNU, received a letter from Ms. Maimunah Mohd Sharif, the UN Under-Secretary-General and the Executive Director of the UN Human Settlements Programme (otherwise known as UN Habitat), announcing that he had been engaged as a member of the International Advisory Council for the Wor ld Cities Report (2020) of the UN Human Settlements Programme. This is the fourth time that Mr. Zhu Yu has joined the Council for the World Cities report.
