Recently, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China has commended our school for its outstanding contribution to the organization and rehearsal of The Great Journey.
The 4-part situational epic show, called The Great Journey, is one of the important activities for celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. After more than three months of rehearsal, 64 teachers and students of FNU have performed well in this grand event. The five programs they engaged in were the musical dance named The Land and the situational chorus Roar! The Yellow River of Part One, the chorus and dance Marching Torch of Part Three, the instrumental music, children's chorus, and dance program Shared Destiny of Part Four and the theme song named “Leading”. Their performance has shown their superb artistic level and high spirits.
The Great Journey was grandly held at the National Stadium (Bird’s Nest) on the evening of June 28 and broadcast by China Media Group on the evening of July 1, which aroused great resonance among all sectors of society.
